We Are Debating the Future of Europe

60 Years of European Integration: Achievements and Challenges

 

This year, we are celebrating the 60th anniversary of the historic moment when representatives of six European countries confirmed the common will to create the European Economic Community and the European Atomic Energy Community.

On this occasion, the University of Economics in Bratislava and the Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia are jointly preparing the conference “We Are Debating the Future of Europe − 60 Years of European Integration: Achievements and Challenges”. The aim of the conference is to highlight the importance of the value of peaceful sustainable development in the united Europe and to accentuate the most successful European Union´s policies for the benefit of the people of Europe.
